This is a puzzling game to play. You have 10 knights; 2 in their original starting positions in a normal chess game and 8 on the 8th row, with the white king on a1 and the black king on e5. Black has one pawn and a king. If that pawn gets promoted, you must promote it to a black knight. You control both colors. The objective of the game is to surround the black king with your knights and checkmate the black king. Tell me the fastest way you have done it from the top diagram in an analysis comment. My new fastest as of 12/19 is 19 moves from this position.
A possible way to win is on the bottom board. The knights surround the black king with a hidden knight checkmating the king. If 8 knights do not surround the enemy king and you get checkmate or stalemate, you must edit your analysis board back to a safe move. In the end, the black pawn/knight must be taken when you checkmate. The black king must also not touch the edges of the board. The white king must also not move.
