True, I am a new member, just recently joined.
Demitri Moustakas at you service.
Althoug Kasparov was without a doubt the best of all time it would have been ingeresting to watch these two play.
I think Fischer might even have been great had he access to modern study methods.

As far as great, Mr. Kasparov has had some pretty outdated views. So I trolled his Twitter feed, criticizing what I perceived as Stone Age.
I mean, compared to Vishy Anand and Bobby Fischer... seriously!
Lo and behold... Kasparov does a press release that he's changed his views!
Could it be? That he's joined the modern era (Bobby was already pro-Woman chess back in 1972) and God only knows how long Anand was already there... but Kasparov only catches up in 2017?
Oh well, at least he's making an effort... after 30 years. I hope it's genuine.

Well he isn’t wrong though, there are very few exceptional women chess players, it is just a fact , don’t blame the messenger.
Also Stipe Miocic is not a woman so I am not sure what the picture is saying and why would it matter if Stipe plays chess.

Well he didn’t say you have to be an exceptional chess player to be a fighter ,what he meant was men make better fighters than women.
So the whole little picture there is wrong.
I feel slightly odd having to point the obviousness of this out, seems the only head it went over is yours.
And I totally rate Bobby in the top ten up until 2000 but claiming he is the best ever is wishful thinking , then again some believe the earth is flat.

It is quite easy to be honest as I am always on my best behavior.
It is just something I do because I believe we are a community of like minded people that should respect each other and contribute to making the site great and interesting.

Shut up. You're quite aware of a thread that tolerates bad behavior. Instead of having to create a ridiculous persona that is a terrible fit, you can just be yourself. Okay, that would be ridiculous too but at least it would be genuine.

The dickens you say! That thread is doing just fine sans duck. I was attempting to help a fellow human being! Well, a duck.
I' m happy they finally figured out Fisher had autism/ aspergers and forced into a cult. I know what really happened to him though, he changed his hair, learned to play tennis and changed his name to John McEnroe.
Did John McEnroe say sexist things against women in the sport?
Funny how nobody seems to know Bobby's actual documented history.
I'm finding accusations speckling the internet that he was a misogynist, a racist, an *everything*... but when I dig into Bobby's letters, or Bobby's video interviews, or legitimate history, it's a very different story.
