There is a big difference in rating between my 2 accounts

I started my first account 2 months ago as a newbie and i was 500 rated. Now I have played and climbed to 820. Today, though I started a new account to see how it'll go and the website immediately put me in 900 rating. After that i won 4/5 of my rating placements and now my second account is at 1200 rating. What's going on? Which rating is the correct one?

Ratings are based on past performance. Had you kept playing on the other account you likely would have climbed to a similar level, though  you'll need to play more on this on to see if you'll drop back down. Ratings have larger swings when accounts are new so you can easily drop back with a few losses.
