Why hasnt @martin_stahl made some lame excuse on behalf of chess.com already?

🤔

simple. different thread needed the same comment. having difficulty comprehending?

It's the same thread.

ninjaswat

Why exactly do you think Martin is paid to do this or is some spokesman for chess.com xD

ninjaswat

So. Because someone else isn’t saying a website with millions of players and a ton of games is doing fine irrespective of bugs, he takes the blame in your eyes?

Every time chess.com breaks a feature isn’t it usually because they’re trying to improve user experience, and isn’t that better than nothing lol.

believe what you will but essentially spamming “where’s Martin supporting chess.com” like… who here is really acting out

im not sure i understand your train of thought. try being more...coherent.

Wow. Look at you. Your condescending tone is... I don't even know lol:

You probably feel proud of yourself for some reason and I don't know whether it's funny or sad. Next time you should try punching up. Y'know, instead of focusing on someone who's just trying to explain points of member dissatisfaction, based off of the information he's obtained and is allowed to divulge. Just a thought though.

Wait, you're keeping up but not posting on every thread to defend CC? I commend your new restraint: It truly is impressive. wink.png

Sure.

1) You are attacking Martin because others don’t seem to be saying this website is doing alright.

2) I say that for every bug they are testing something new, and that improves the site.

3) You are calling out Martin while essentially spamming (posting the same message on multiple different threads multiple different times even when context changes) on the forums.

I don’t believe this is a valid argument on your side. Clear enough?

SavageOppress

Ninjaswat: Ehhh... More bugs doesn't necessarily mean the website is working on upgrading itself more, though there's certainly a correlation.

And I agree that this has transcended from one funny joke to a bunch of off-topic spamming.

Anybody who attacks martin for this site's faults is really low as a person, Martin is literally the guy carrying half of the moderation team on his back when it comes to answering questions and mediating to the best of his abilities, and while I don't always agree with his explanations I respect him for that. Why are you so condescending? Email support if you want to vent don't be a clown.

no. i dont think he is paid by chess.com. nor do i think he is their spokesman. but he is a major chess.com apologist. every time there is an issue or chess.com screws something up, martin is the first to weigh in with some lame excuse.

what do you expect him to do, say "yeah chess.com sucks and the bug will end you"? no one's gonna do that (not even you)

PromisingPawns

If you point one finger at Martin, hundreds will point back at you. Get a life and some maturity. What do you expect from Martin except to say that the team is working on it?

Agreed. CCs forums are lucky to actually have active moderators, and while I feel like Martin often gives biased opinions that are overtly bizarrely defensive of Chess.Com, this is still much better than no activity and I commend Martin for being a - generally positive - presence here.

that's the issue with slow people. they don't realize their deficiencies. tell me, martin, why do you think the bus you took to school was so short?

Yawn, you're clearly not worth too much of my time, as you committed two of the cardinal sins of discourse on this site, calling both martin and orca stupid. Therefore I shall keep this quick: the only person riding on the short bus here is you. If you disagree with Martin's defenses then don't call him sow, just say what you don't like. I've been complaining about this site for months, it doesn't stop me from respecting what Martin's done for this site for years. The best thing for you to do is to take your meds and a nap, you're evidently getting too cranky, you've made your point, the site needs work, I agree, you can stop saying mods trying to defend the site are the problem, or even a symptom, its just wrong. The only problem here is the improper vision-oriented staff, and whiners like you who take the focus off intellectual conversation.

Seems more like a you issue than Martin’s

Why have you been stalking his school bus

Your logic is flawed.

1. I am not attacking Martin Stahl because of anything related to what others may do or not do. I am criticizing him for what HE does.

2. You can say (or think) whatever you like. But that doesn't mean you are correct.

3. I am posting it multiple times but only where it applies IN CONTEXT because Martin is guilty of this behavior on multiple occassions.

Get it now, or does what I am saying still elude you?

still eluded, sorry

Last thing, for the love of god stop being so patronizing. Most understand what you're saying, we just agree that it's annoying and unnecessary. So don't act like you're the smartest one in the room making literary attacks beyond our observation level.
