I think chess can be brutal in a very cold and brutal world. I think this site needs more mental health oversight before someone harms themselves or worse. Peace and Love ❤️

Chess is just a game.  Losing a game that you put a lot into because of a silly mistake can make anybody depressed.

Sometimes, losing streaks happen. There's no way to understand why some days you see things and other days you're just clueless.

But there's always another chance tomorrow. After all, it's just a game.

You know all this.

I don't think chess.com is likely to be in a position to offer much in the way of mental health support.

You may need to talk with someone professional. I don't know where you live but wherever you are, help is available.

chess does not harm anyone...unless a large number of envious idiots defame innocent players because they take accuracy into consideration too seriously

This is a serious situation, one that Woolly has noticed getting progressively worse, and has therefore agreed with the help of a local Healthcare Authority , to set up a daily routine , that will help all those members who find themselves in this precarious predicament, to once again face the life with a big grin on their face. Woolly will soon be posting details of the daily routine, that’s going to bring you back too the real World once again ! ......bless you all ! 🙏

Hey man! Don't feel depressed because you are losing continuously, everyone at some point feels they are trash at it. You are just not in your usual form. I hope you'll cope up with it soon. ❤️❤️

I had to lose THOUSANDS of games (in OTB play, not online) before I became half-decent at the game.

@4go10_Legend True, this site does need more emotional support (because worldwide there is a need to begin with).  There are a few clubs on here that focus on mental health and hope.  During September, which is Suicide Awareness month, this club was created Suicide Awareness .  Its main purpose is to share resources with those who are in need of help or individuals who are trying to help a friend or family member in need.  Here are the links from the introduction:
