Thanks for the posts Corrijean and Winedrunkard.
As for Harry-Soho67, if we ignore him he may just go away ( in case he is just a old naysayer using a new name ).
Thanks for the post AlCzervik. I can tell that are the sort of person who wishes Chess.com nothing but good luck so I will tell you that the total has now passed 6.11 million, to repeat one of my earlier quotes: " Let her go boys ! ".
Are you going to start such a thread or wait for someone else?
You must be so proud. Let me guess, in your former membership here you were one that would try to be "first!" (or frist) in the daily puzzle.
Don't play dumb, dummy. You wrote me a note and you must have seen his post there, also.
Besides, I enjoy making you crazy.
Is there some correlation between Chess.com's membership and the world population?
Yeah Batgirl, sure, ... There is 6 "million" people on Earth, Batgirl, good point- (Not 6 "billion").
(Interesting though that there are 9 million inhabitants in Sweden).

More interesting is that you somehow know the world's population yet managed to miss the entire implication of the word 'correlation.'
Thanks for the recent posts.
It does seem like a lot of people are a bit out of sorts around here in the last 24 hours. Perhaps there is a full Moon happening ? ( Beware ye of the power of ye olde Lunar Orb ! ).
...and about 100,000,000,000 have ever lived. That means that about 7% of all humans that have ever lived are still alive!!!
Recently there was an interesting question in my thread on the 12 million number. I do not have the numbers that were requested but we could use this thread for a rough guide. This thead is over 3 years old so let us round off the age to 4 years at which time this site was close to the 6 million total for member-accounts. As this site is now nearing 12 million in total one could say that the has been a average growth of 1.5 million member-accounts per year over the past 4 years.
Right, musacha.
