This Site Will Soon Have 7 Million Members !!!

Well we have now reached the mid-point between 6 million and 7 million, yup the 6.5 million mark has been passed.

Update on the numbers: 6.6 million has been passed. As Jackie Gleason used to say " And away we go ! "

Another update finds that the total is now at 6.7 million.

how do you find the number of members?

Thanks for the new posts. When you first sign onto Chess.com and get the " welcome page " there is a list in the top right-hand corner which also tells you the number of people that are here at any given time.

And now 6.8 million ...

I won't go into a long boring story Re this thread except to say that all of the boring details are in my previous thread on numbers ( Yup the 6 million thread ). At the old thread starting with post #1 we have all of the history  explained ( to give out a little hint it has to do with the endless naysayers ).  

Yes the 6.9 million mark has now been passed.

So many nice people, all trying to play Chess and making friends! Can this be true? Or am I in a coma dream?

I'm with you there TheBigDecline, we have a lot of nice people here ( and it is best to just try and avoid " The Others " ).

Aah, I'm way too drunk for this conversation. BTW, the 7millionth guy will probably register alreadyby by next week, and by the end of the year it's very positive we'll have something like 10 million members. And then Chess.com will enter the stock market ...

That is great about all the members.  How many of those 7 million have a chess rating here?

Apparently, 5 out 6 people only visit Chess.com for the nice atmosphere. Of course, Blitz is the most played time format, and only 1 out of 20 (!!) even bothers to play Correspondence Chess.

The atmosphere is mostly inert gasses. Who wouldn't enjoy that!
