--- In that other thread I mentioned the " Fischer Bump " that occured in 1972 when interest in Chess increased and USCF membership spiked upwards after the WCC match in Iceland. There are quite a number of people who feel that a Carlsen victory over Anand might do the same sort of thing again, however time will tell ( and I don't think that Anand is just going to give up 
).

I was just joking. I think Anand is a very gentleman-like, humble WC. But I'm rooting for Carlsen nevertheless. Because then haters will have no reason anymore to disparage his talent.
