Plus, we have Magnus Carlsen on our site! How awesome is that, to play on the same site as this gentleman does?

ROFLOL
Aah, sorry sorry, my bad!
Here's the real one:

(He just registered for a Vote Chess game which was held back in 2010, and never returned. Still, it's beneficial for the reputation of a place when the world's highest-ranked player is a member there.)

Is it just me or does he look different? lol (joking)

Carlsen would never wear that shirt!
Still better than Yahoo Chess!
And advertising other sites is against the forum policies, but you know that already.
--- Thanks for making that point as we should all follow the rules of this site.
And soon we will conquer the world (in chess)!
--- Yes Indeed ! I can hardly wait for the Carlsen bump to occur ( A reference to an item in my Carlsen thread ).
Is the Carlsen bump anything similiar to the Harlem Shake? lol!
--- In that other thread I mentioned the " Fischer Bump " that occured in 1972 when interest in Chess increased and USCF membership spiked upwards after the WCC match in Iceland. There are quite a number of people who feel that a Carlsen victory over Anand might do the same sort of thing again, however time will tell ( and I don't think that Anand is just going to give up ).
Does this figure include the various accounts that are created just to advertise sporting events such as Man U vs Man City?

Oh, I understand now, so that's what you meant with Carlsen bump.
Yeah, you heard that, Anand??! Make way for the future generation and, I dunno, go into retirement or something!
Thanks for the post DaBigDecline.
To borrow a line from an old TV ad Anand may feel that Carlsen has to get the title " the old fashioned way, he has to earn it ! "
Thank fo the post DaBigDecline.
Geesh, when everybody stopped posting in this thread after I made that remark, I was worried a bit I might've insulted some Anand fans.
I was just joking. I think Anand is a very gentleman-like, humble WC. But I'm rooting for Carlsen nevertheless. Because then haters will have no reason anymore to disparage his talent.
Yeah way better than yahoo chess,
Plus this has to be the most popular chess site, since whenever you look up "chess" the first link is chess.com (on any type of computer).
