This creates also unnecessary ill-will, as people will think the administration is lying to "the public." How many "how many members are there" threads get started every week?
Yes the 7 million mark has been passed and I was way off with my guess ( again ). I am now going to guess that July 1st will be the day that the 8 million Member Account total is reached. Good Luck to those people who will be leaving guesses here for the Big Date !
Wonder if any rival websites will popup that will give it a run for its money. Great to hear that chess is alive and well!!!!!

Oh yes, well back on topic, there are people that know roughly how many real members there are, and how many "discrete" page views the site gets a day. Those people being the "ad guys" on this site, who need to know so they can set their rates accordingly.
Someone should just call up the site ad department as a potential client and ask.
