Thrown out of Team "Respect"!

Sort:
johnmusacha

So I decided to join one of those "invite only" groups on here named "Respect" and applied for membership.  I saw that I was admitted earlier today.

Next time I logged on a few hours later I see that they had kicked me out already.  I hadn't even done anything as a member yet.  Once again, I'm hurt and shocked.

The group is here if you want to investigate further:

kco

You fully deserved to be kicked out of that group.

johnmusacha

What did I do, smart guy?

DrSpudnik

You tell us!

People just don't get thrown out of groups for nothing.

johnmusacha

I saw that I was admitted in the team this morning when I logged into the site.  I logged out.  Logged back in this afternoon and saw that I was kicked out of the team, no explanation, no nothing.  And I would apprecaiate it if your friend KCO would stop following me around the forum making snide comments to my posts.

You, DrSpudnik, however, are okay in my book.  I've really warmed up to you.  I heard Kansas City is a hoot by the way!

JM

DrSpudnik

Kansas City is a big city for small town folks.

And KCO has always opened up on people who got under his skin. It's one of his charms.

Your fatal mistake.....

johnmusacha

Fatal?  Tone it down a bit, bucko.

netzach

Sorry to hear that John.

It's a great group as well. Full of hot-girls & funky-guys.

johnmusacha

Hey Netz...have you ever seen "Ali G"?

netzach

Smile Think he's in hiding after offending the brothers & most of America.

(Not to mention Kazakhastan)

johnmusacha

Haha well, doesn't the SA of Team "Respect" kinda remind you of Ali G in a way?

Big ups to Westside Staines!

netzach

Never mind. You will never get flung out of the Parham Fans!

johnmusacha

Well, what I can think of, and it's probably the case, is there may have been some tension between me and the Respect SA from the team match we played together (Jerky Boys vs. Respect).  But hey, no big deal.

robotjazz

That is the funniest thing I have heard all day!Wink Guess they just couldn't handle the Jerky Boys' attitude. Maybe we should toss them off the roof. I didn't realize being a member of "respect" meant you couldn't say what you wanted to in completely unaffiliated forums. I respect people with the balls to have a voice for themselves. won't be joining that group EVER.

johnmusacha

I'll challenge them to a rematch right now.  Any suggestions on the match title, time controls, etc?  And Robotjazz, I always know you got my back.  Frank Rizzo!

johnmusacha

Just as an update now, three weeks later, "Team Respect" re-admitted me, sent me this interesting post in a "vote chess" game,

http://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/some-quotvote-chessquot-advice-from-england

Then threw me out of the group a few hours later.  So now I've been thrown out of "Team Respect" twice in one month!

I don't care to belong to any club that would have me as a member.

(Except the Free Masons or any of the many other powerful new world order secret societies.  That would be useful.)
