Time Bonuses in Matches

WHY does time get added after every move??? And is there a way to turn this feature off? The first few months I had the app, this was the norm... then it disappeared for like 2 months... now it has magically reappeared. 5 minute games turn into 10 minute games. Very annoying.

Thank you, noticed I was doing that soon after... don't understand what that feature is for.
