So I'm playing a 3 min blitz, we keep going at it the game is super violent... then I make a mistake and the player gets the upper hand.. we get down to a time crunch, they have a queen and a king and a stuck pawn, I have a king and a pawn with 15 seconds over them. We get down to say like 5 seconds, but every time I make a move, the game adds a few seconds but in a decreasing fashion.. That kept happening, and eventually It was a draw, but what's the deal with extra time??
Lagging out the other player is a common tactic when losing in a game. Any time I post this fact my comment or the thread I post on gets deleted. I suspect because it's the truth!
