new to chess.com and already something getting on my nerves, when you have made a nice move and your opp just sits there for 20 odd mins for the loss! awesome, anyone else had this?

This behaviour would be less frequent than the abort behaviour.

Chess.com encourages players to be kind and show good sportsmanship. Our Fair Play policy expects that players will not...

  • intentionally disconnect during games
  • stall to make opponents wait unnecessarily
  • frivolously abort games because they don't want to play black, etc. (Note that we have now implemented a limit on the frequency with which users may abort games; please Abort only when necessary. Also see below.)

"Good" people were caught in the Fair Play Policy net so the abort issue was addressed.  http://blog.chess.com/webmaster/live-chess-updates-fair-play--tournaments

With continued complaints the site may lower the acceptable limit on stallers.

Don't play rated 20min games. Players can get quite fickle sometimes when they are losing.

What???  Someone in a losing position wastes time instead of playing it out or resigning?  I've never heard of this happening before...
