Please read the post - sure it's with premoves, the average reaction time is 250ms. Dragging is of the question here.
Timing in blitz
I notice plenty of my opponents take 100ms to make a move, while the best possible record for a move for me was 300ms. Online tools show that 250ms is actually the average - how fast can people click the mouse once they see a signal. I score ~200ms, which is way above average, still - most of my opponents go for 100ms, which is in no way humanly possible. I don't think it's outright cheating, because that would be the majority of players. How do I explain it?
Why dont you do premoves?
In your CaroKann, you could play 3 mouse clicks after seeing e4.
1. c6
2....... d5 (premove, ) (You will do 2.... no matter what he move)
For move three you have to do two things,
.1........dxe4(premove)
2. meanwhile put your mouse pointer in 3..... "c5" or "bf5" whatever you prefer, for 3.e5 . So in case your premove did not work, you save time in aiming and moving.
All of these _are_ premoves - the piece is already moved into expected cell, you just release the mouse button to release. The time it should take is visual reaction time(250ms) + evaluation of a position. The question is different - how do my opponents achieve this in subhuman times(100ms)?
If you are really slow in mouse reaction, play FORTNITE for 3 months, and then come back.!! ![]()
