As a teacher, I have found students will match the enthusiasm you have for your topic. Convey your enthusiasm and love of chess, and you have a great starting point.
Take small steps - start with something that your student can do, so she will experience success early. No-one wants to find out they are can't do it at the beginning. Maybe an easily solved puzzle or something like that.
Next week, I am going to teach chess for my new first student.
I really want to make a good first impression, I really want to excite her.
My student is a female teenager girl, which played chess in first and second grade, then stopped.
So do you guys have any tips on how to make her fell in love with the game?
