I've been using this site for 12 years now, across various accounts, and have never paid a penny for it. So the "paywall" complaint doesn't hold much water, to me.
I also use an ad-blocker (I believe everyone should consider using ad-blockers when using the internet, to avoid potential malware), so ads are not an issue, either.
Cheating is certainly an issue, though that's not a Chess.com-specific issue - I'd say that's an issue with human nature itself ...

1. Do puzzles on Lichess and import your games onto Lichess for free Game Reviews.
2. Adblocker.

Chess.com has a lot of strengths but, as you’ve noted, some aspects can feel restrictive, especially the paywalls and ads.

4. Turn off notifications
5. Its because of YOUR WiFi
6. Your WiFi again is the problem
7. The community isn’t thaaaaat garbage, but again, not Chess.Com’s fault.
Easy+Simple fix: Stay away from the forums and the clubs and focus on improving at Chess
This won’t help him/her, because I see he/she has already closed their account, but if anyone who is thinking about closing their account comes on this thread, it’s just a warning. READ THIS POST BEFORE CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT!

2000 isn't even good bro you wasted your time, you should have gotten to 2600+ plus that is respectable.

If you want peace and quiet, disable your "chat" and "messages" by default. Then it's only chess, and nobody can interact with you (except on the forums).
unfortunately i think that the only other realistic option is lichess, which is better in some ways, but it also has its own flaws, so i wouldnt really say that there is a real solution, unless you are just giving up online chess altogether
