Totally disgusted

I am totally disgusted for sometimes the server forces me to play with black pieceses usually at the first games of the day.Today in a 3 min game the server did not allow me to abort a game and I had to play with 2 and a half min against my opponent who had 3 min and also had the white pieces.Also diisgusted with chickens play with white and dont play a rematch.

I actually like to play with black, you've been on this site for 8 years you're not going to always get what you want. You play some white games, you play some black games. Don't call people who decline your rematch "chickens". They might have to do something else. According to your archive you get a balanced amount of both colors: 

You got everything wrong. I am not here for 8 years . It was for a short time 8 years ago and this year only. Besides I am not  talking the total ratio of whites or blacks. When I play beginning it forces me to play repetetive blacks and when you are tired and disappointed gives you white which is less relevant.

What does it have to do with the subject?

So you're going to blame the system for something they basically have no control of.

I like playing with black it gives you the opportunity to defend against whatever your opponent does and then counterattack 

Anyone can like playing with repetetive blacks that is not to my taste. I personally work on both my white and black openings and want to practise them.

Well Cleary when you play black you don't like it so maybe you should work on your game when you have the black pieces right?

Looks like you have an equal number of games with white and black.  The server will randomly pick which side except for a rematch (the opposite of what you just played is assigned)

No need to repeat which is already stated I think. What I object is not the total amount of colours. When I come home from work and want to play a few blitz games say first 2 games are black in a row and I don't like this because at the beginning of the blitz games usually one is  not warmed up yet and I get disappointed at the beginning.

Roger 436's post above shows that in the previous 12 games you got six blacks and six whites.   Seems incredibly fair and balanced to me.    Indeed, one would expect a slight bias one way or the other just due to random chance, but that is not evident here.   

If what you're objecting to is having your >First< game as black, then all I have to say is that there's a 50:50 chance.   

I went back and looked at your games to see which color you were offered in the first game over the last few weeks and came up with this:

You got black first on: Feb 7, Feb 5, Jan 28, Jan 25, Jan 23
You got white first on: Feb 6, Jan 30, Jan 27, Jan 24, and Jan 22   

That's where I stopped.  Indeed, a dead even mix of white and black.   I'm sure if you went back further, that the figures would remain close to 50:50.

Indeed, I'm kind of astonished at how evenhanded chess.com is in this respect.   So, perhaps this is a perception issue?

You can specify what side you want in a custom unrated game.  For rated games the side will be randomly determined. 

Actually this is not completely true. Today I 've played 11 blacks and 9 whites but the real problem for me is the 3/4 black ratio at the first games. Anyway This is my last post at this topic enough said already.

Why do you, OP, care about this at all?

IRL at every level of chess play you will of course need to play as both sides, so getting practice is of course important. Arguably more important to get practice as black since you need to prepare for dozens of different popular openings.

If it's rating, then bear in mind rating is meaningless. It's a scorecard that you can use to see your progress but if you're doing things like aborting games because you're playing as black then you are trying to give yourself an advantage and skewing that rating.

Frankly I'm surprised to see a player as high rated as you still having this complaint. It's something I hear usually from novices.

Have you tried outsmarting the computer... just pretend to be tired and disappointed and bingo bango, the computer will give you white

interesting. i never cared about white vs black ratio since it always balances out.

nobody owes you a rematch unless its some kind of tourney .
