rip sorry
touched moved

at least you weren't completely winning?
wdym
i was black
what I was trying to say is that if you were totally winning and you lost like that it would feel much worse than a game you were probably going to lose (don't try and fool yourself)
Well when we did the post mortem lightning said he would’ve played b4 not qa4

Sorry to hear that. In a recent otb event vs someone 150 points higher than me, I was on the more comfortable side of the draw and had a touch-move blunder

Dear students,
please be aware that “we do a little trolling” is not a valid excuse to set fire to the theatre. If you know of anyone who plans to set fire to the theatre, please report to the front office.

I ran to the front office to say that i will set fire to the theater and if you remove or do anything to me, I will set fire to the theater. That would be hilarious to see their reaction as they just watch me set fire to the theatre or do anything to me and I still burn the theatre
In this position, white has just played Nb5! Exploiting black's bad move two moves earlier. Now, I had calculated Bxb5 bxb5 Nb8 and during the game I was worried about Qa4, when black is most likely losing material. Obviously, I cannot play Nxb5 because e8 hangs with check.
So I reached my hand and grabbed his knight, and as I was about to hit the clock, I noticed that I in my hand was a black knight. Huh?
I blinked a couple times and set it down quickly. I looked up at my opponent.
Our eyes met. He shook his head slowly, looking back down.
"I am so sorry."
I made a half-choking noise that I think resembled laughter, causing a few people to turn and look at us.
Wow, first board finished awfully quickly. It hadn't even been two hours since the round started.
Now I can look forward to playing a 1700.
