And now I see the Lasker game is how this thread began.  Sorry -- I thought this was the first page.  Unless I missed it, though, the Morphy example hadn't been mentioned yet.

Not exactly the same as castling, but you don't see this sort of checkmate every day.

I was completely busted until my opponent let me promote a pawn, and then used his queen to take one of my other pawns. I moved my king off the back rank.
