Unexplained Rating Change

Recently I noticed my Bullet rating dropped from 1302 to 1298, even though I did not play any Bullet games. Can anyone explain why this might have happened? Why would a player’s rating change without any games being played? Does chess.com lower ratings after periods of inactivity to encourage people to play? Any answers? Thanks in advance.
