Unsufficient Material Rule

Why king+knight vs king+bishop is a draw by insufficient material? (As in my last game)

Because both a king and knight duo and a king and bishop duo are incapable of checkmating a lone king.

Because there is no forced checkmate using king+knight or king+bishop, i.e. you and your opponent would be moving pieces forever (or until any of you uses 50 moves rule etc)

Most they can do is stalemate.

Clue’s in the name, mate. Both sides have insufficient material to checkmate the opponent.
