Unwittingly let too much time elapse! I lost UNFAIR 🤓🤓

Better get a large sum of money ready.

Haha! Indeed. I simply didn't think about the time variable and I was unduly punished for my total lack of situational awareness. It was chess.coms fault because they should text if not call me personally as opposed to impersonally and let me know that I need to move or they should make a special provision just for me so that I can have an indefinite continuance; like in a drawn out legal case. My attorney said that while I'm an utter idiot, he has seen more absurd cases and more remarkably, the more absurd chawbacon nonsense get settled in short order for chump change. He figures I can walk away with over 1.50 which will be enough to pay to exit the parking garage at the court house. I don't own a watch nor a clock. I'm just glad we're already into cooler weather now that it is September. Pardon?

I've often inadvertently allowed the time to elapse and thus, have unwittingly lost a game that I was doing well in. What measures can a Grand Master or even a rube like me do to contest my lack of situational awareness to the governing officials and get the game overturned?

being unwitting is never fair
Amen John! Neither fair nor equitable. In short, it's unfair!
