I would recommend deleting all of the temporary internet files (sometimes called cache) that are stored by your browser. If you are unsure how to do this, here is a tutorial: http://support.chess.com/index.php?_m=troubleshooter&_a=steps&troubleshootercatid=1&parentid=0 .
(old thread) HELP NEEDED
I did leave it for 5 mins or more , mkirk .
never thought of vacation , Saccadic ,
thank you all for help , I have taken Baseballfan's advise , and it seems to have cured the problem .
Once again many thanks for help , Allan .
Same thing happened to me - I switched from using Internet Explorer and started up Google Chrome instead. That worked fine!
I am experiencing the above problem. I use Chrome, and just dleted cache. Still no pieces on the board.
Had this prob with both chrome and explorer before till I swiched to firefox with no probs since, a bonus with firefox was that the dialogue box will auto repeat greetings etc by one letter clicks saving endlessly repeating messages.
I've found that often the pieces don't show and in the moves list box I see comments, even though the moves tab is selected. If I click on the chat tab and then click back on the moves tab I then see both the pieces on the board and the move list in the box. But if I just wait, I just end up waiting longer.

Can you post screenshots?
Which browser and version is it?
Is it windows or mac?
When I go into my online chess games , an try to open the game for "MY MOVE" , the board displays but the pieces are not displayed .
Any suggestions as to why ?????????
