First of all, I'd like to congratulate you on being the first one to reply.  As you've no doubt seen with the daily puzzle, one of the most inexplicably cherished things on chess.com is to not only to be first, but to say first, as if anyone else gives a whit.

But, perhaps I can explain. My wife went to UCSF, so I was hoping that would give me some sort of honorary status in the chess world, but apparently not.  Disregard.   Carry on.
