Vassily IVANCHUK: “I going to quit chess"

Sort:

Wasnt an excuse. He was just very upset. Thats his personality. He could have won or he had won games in certain circumstances. Your certainly quite harsh.

C'est la vie

EternalChess

wtf is you peoples problems..

he has no unibrow.., you guys need to get your eyes checked.. seriosuly..

And Regicide.. "I could'av won"

If you actually look at the game, he COULDAV WON, he had a winning position (pretty clear) and he blundered away his winning position, but the point is.. he couldav won, and all GM's say that, so dont go crying that Ivanchuk said it.. Carlsen said it, Kasparov said it, pretty much every1 said they could win.

kco

Do you think Ivanchuk has put on some weight ?

Nice quote Sim. Still things change with time. Easy to say that when your young.

haha, Kamsky is out of the world cup, this dude sucks, hes so overrated, Nakamura is way better.

idosheepallnight

Ivanachuck should come to America. Take off 6 months for soul searching and and play for us. Even at his worst he is amoung the best.

nuclearturkey

SerbianChessStar, what's your problem? You seem to be on a crusade against anyone who dares post something lighthearted once in a while... Undecided

EternalChess

I said he doesnt have a unibrow and the immature kid kept saying stuff about it.. its pretty annoying.

idosheepallnight

SerbianChessStar you obviously have a very short temper. Leave the kid alone.

EternalChess

I was keeping it calm until he said i had no life..

Ziryab

Not everyone plays as long as Korchnoi and Karpov. Quitting in the prime of life is normal and expected for most sports competitors--quitting while still young enough to move on to great success in another endeavor.
