I've recently taken up the Alekhine's Defence.

Therefore, I'd prefer to be Black in my blitz games. Is there a way to request colors?

I think you can only choose your colour in unrated games.

Challenge a player and as part of that challenge specify black or white (for that matter) this does not guarantee he/she will accept or what opening that will use.

You can set up a custom position and issue challenges.

I just did this and challenged you for a daily chess game, @realraptor.

Hopefully I did it right.
