Was Magnus' false accusation against Hans justified?

What happened to Hans was one of the biggest miscarriages in the history of the game, shame on those who piled on and went through over a decade of games to try justify that he did indeed cheat just to serve their own interests and Magnus's
Hans Niemann is an interesting personality, but there has not been enough proof.

It was justified if he genuinely thought that he had been cheating. So far as I know, there's no evidence that his accursation was false, either.
