I used to think the same thing as Cherub and iKeem...after all it makes logical sense...how can a pinned piece be threatening the King.....UNTIL this exact same thing came up where I wanted to move an interposing piece away because the piece threatening the King was pinned....but alas according to the REAL rules of chess you can not do that because it is still considered putting your King in danger....and I lost the game after a heated discussion, but found out I was wrong later and apologized...
Could not en passant? (Something weird going on..)
It is illegal to make a move which would leave your King in check. Otherwise, your complaint about not being able to apply the en passant rule succeeds with flying colours.

LOL
For some reason cherub has woken up today and decided to be a troll. He/she knows full well why this move cannot be played and is just trying to get people to bite. Cherub has already been warned by a moderator over these posts today. It's just pointless.
Okay mr chess professor with 1049 blitz after 600 games
Think about it logically guys. Here we have a 2000 player saying something and here we have one of the worst patzers on the site saying something else. Which do you think is more likely to be true? USE YOUR BRAIN GUYS!
Cherub has frequently helped out other people. Why would he lie about chess rules? Your perceptions are unfounded buddy.
Yes, but the Ra7 makes the Bf7 useless.
Please try to expand your board vision.
You're an idiot!
That Bishop can be pinned in multiple ways. Absolute pin to the King and Relative pin to the Queen by a Rook in the cross direction.
Doesn't matter! You can't put your King in Check! If capture the King were legal, then Bishop takes White King and Black wins. Capture the King in blitz or Checkmate in normal chess ENDS THE GAME! No retaliation move for the opponent!
Sheesh - all these clowns on chess.com that don't understand what freaking check is! Time for you to take up Tic Tac Toe instead!
If you knew more than him then why is is rating higher than yours?
OH DAMN I FORGOT ABOUT THAT
Thanks for reminding me.
I remember now. You can't castle in bullet and you can't en passant in blitz...makes sense.
Thank you, jcohen42. I find it very suspicious and indeed, "interesting", as you'd put it.
