Weird question: clothes

Well...lol ! Kasparov was always very smartly-dressed & businesslike I noticed over the years. Magnus Carlsen contemporary equivalent. Believe he has major & lucrative sponsorship deals with clothing-manufacturers ?
( Confident NP can handle cjett all on her own ! :)

Dressing smartly helps me to feel confident during a game, but alas, it would not be of much help against you
It wouldn't be much help against Helen Keller.

Sorry.. I have a weird question... But i can't help wondering, after seeing like a thousand chess player pictures (specially men)... Why people from the lower ratings (>2200) dresses so badly and people from the higher ratings (>2600) dresses so great??
Have a hint?
I have never dressed up for a tournment, I usually opt for athletic attire instead. I personally find dress shirts to be very uncomfortable, and I would probably play 50 rating points lower because of this. Maybe I should find out who Fischer's Tailor was, if he never complained... then I could make a movie about it "Searching for Fischer's Tailor."
