After playing a pin on the knight, the game get's worse and worse for me, to the point that I resign. What move should I play and what moves should I have redone?

Were you black?

Should not have played B7-b6 so soon if you plan on a knight pin.  In this continuation I probably, with my novice style, would probably just take the pawn with by bishop I guess, not sure eh.

I am black. Should I have played the knight pin earlier?

MrKornKid

I think so yes.  And if you planned to move a pawn first, do c6 so your bishop has a spot to retreat to.

You should have played Bb7 first and after that Bb4.

The question isn't "where did I go wrong" It's "well...where do I move?" Interesting how many people are saying "what you should of done" as if you have a time machine. Playing worse case scenarios makes you a better player. You backed your bishop into a bad situation and didn't see it until it was already too late. That happens and now you know better. Won't happen again right? But what to do now that you're here? Accept your Bishop's demise and activate your other pieces so you can still mate. Since you're two moves from castling, I would decide queenside versus kingside. Which leaves you in a better position?
