WHAT ARE TROLLS?

What are they? I know that this must be a very noob question, but I have only been on chess.com for about 1 month and I’m not sure what trolls are.
a mythical, cave-dwelling being depicted in folklore as either a giant or a dwarf, typically having a very ugly appearance.
I would also offer for the youth that trolls are super happy upbeat cloth dolls that spend their time singing, dancing, and hugging. The movie is actually cute regardless of having kids or little siblings (the intended target of the movie)

Trolls are people who are mean on the internet. That's about it.

There are other websites in which the phrase "troll" is held, too.

Understood, but it only takes 1 person to get "offended" over something, and the trolls have get what they wanted.

Can someone please give me a real concise answer? You all know what I am talking about. I thought that these forums are where you can ask questions! Thanks for the links as well, but they didn’t work so maybe no thanks. What are chess.com trolls, and are there any examples?
And I am not a troll! I’m a human! And I’m not a human troll! I think...unless trolls on chess.com are people who premove all the time...which I don’t but I know a few who do.
I need to know.
Well, actually, I want to know so that I won’t be one and thus won’t be banned from chess.com. I love chess.com.
