It is a count of how many people have looked at your page to see who you are (or how often). I did it to check on when you joined the site while we were discussing points.

A unique username can view your profile. He/she adds 1 view. They cannot add additional views by repeatedly viewing the page. They can only add another view after a period of 24 hours, (i think)

at last count, I have over 3,500 views of my profile. I am an average 1600 player at best.
