What chess goodies is Santa bringing you?

I asked for a few books (FCO, Soltis' winning pawn structures, Everyman book on the Ruy) and a checkbook magnetic chess set to get my geek on out in public.

Of course, I did also ask for that late 19th century Jacques of London chess set on ebay that sold a few weeks ago for £800. I keeping my fingers crossed that it was sold to someone I know!!!

What about you all?

I'm getting a tablet, so I hope there's a good chess app I can download.

@N2UHC ... There are a ton of great chess apps for tablets. You're going to love playing/training with your tablet. I have databases, tactic trainers, a few engines and a blindfold chess trainer.

Pat_Zerr

Can you suggest some good apps?

Silman's complete endgame course already arrived and I suspect I might also get a small pocket sized chessgame. It's going to be a wonderfull chessmas this year Laughing

@N2UHC - I have an ipad and these are my most used apps...

Chessimo, shredder, hiarcs, stock fish, blind chess, banksia (database program), tactics trainer, chess base online, dinochess ( for my kid). And a handful of others that I don't use regularly.
