I can't speak for Women in general (cuz i'm a guy, soo...) but in my experience: if the guy is attractive, then, obviously him playing chess is just another thing that's "attractive" about him. On the other hand...alas, an unkempt gentlemen playing chess, oblivious to the Opposite Sex amongst the surroundings; being boisterous, loud, sweaty, and wearing cologne "et au naturale"-might, quite possibly, be viewed 'disgusting'?!
