What do you mean by chess rating?

I see stats and there are number of scores based on daily, rapid, etc. But when someone asks you what our chess rating is, what score are they referring to?

There are 3 kinds of FIDE rating: classical, rapid, blitz.
FIDE rating generally refers to classical.
There are 4 kinds of chess.com rating: rapid, blitz, bullet, daily.
Chess.com rating generally refers to rapid.
