What do you think chess.com needs to improve in???

Maybe, they can add some new activities/ things to do every 1 or 2 months or so.... once you have the same old things it can get a little boring

I'm superadmin of a group.  There was once when 2 of my members accounts got closed cause of cheating and they were involved in many team matches. Now, they have lost the matches because thier accounts were closed and the team is losing together because of that! Why can't chess.com pause all thier team matches other than making the team lose? Its not the teams fault. We did not know they were cheaters!

1. live chat in games, so we dont have to wait until refresh to see messages

2. when i send multiple chat messages, they are often out of order and end up not making sense.

More customization to live chess would be nice. Nothing big, just stuff like changing the piece style, board size, etc. Maybe an optional, but very nice downloadable client, that you can customize to your heart's content? I don't really know how this kind of thing works, but it would be appreciated.

3d Graphics can be to distracting and take too long to load, I think they could offer more in the sense of configuration of your own boards, but if I was forced to play in a 3D board, I would leave the site.

 well, it depends. sometimes, you may just feel in the mood for some 3D board fun! anyway, it does not take that long to load. chess.com can make the board settings optional but just with more options! ;)

Might have been mentioned already but I have not read the entire thread.  Things I would like to see improved has to do with the mobile app. 

I would liek to see a mobile version of the site itself.  Be able to post and read on the forums. What we have now, is not very user friendly.

Also be able to see the board of any current game you have, not just when its your move.  This is huge to me.

So far the site is very good, no doubt.  Keep working towards making it better guys!

Well I think our rating should mostly depend on our live chess games and not are online chess. You know, in all the tournaments, team matches and stuff here on chess.com, they only look at the online rating. I feel live chess rating is more accurate! But ofcourse, they would have to work on live chess's lagging first.

3D pieces have just arrived, as part of the latest new features and fixes package.

I would also like to see an option in the correspondance chess to view all games of withs the oponent is currently online! So the games of whom is online goes faster! Specialy intresthing for the players having many games going on.

What also would be nice is the possibility to set the time before chess.com put you on vacation! Sometimes i am put on vacation while there was more then 80 minutes left. Personaly i would set it to 30 minutes but understand that that time can be differ from others, so a extra option in the game settings maybe.

Coming onto RamRizzle 's point above, I think he is quite right. We should not actually 'lose' a game due to dissconnection on live chess! Can't it be a draw or something?

Well, there is one other thing. Chess.com should make a mentor program ( i know they already have one) but this time, we play against the computer and the computer will correct our mistakes! It is common that in many groups and teams, team leaders are trying to find a 'mentor' to mentor thier group. this i think is ideal for everyone!

I have a suggestion, that I think would add to our chess community, and would not be very hard to add to the site.

I am a history geek, as well as a chess geek. I always see people having the perpetual "who is the best ever" thread, with some favoring any one of a dozen players.

I think it would be cool if there was a "Great Chess Players" section of the site, with a biography of the player, an then a games database, perhaps with some annotated, either by the player himself, or by a contemporary master.

I think it would be cool to be able to read about Morphy, Capablanca, Alekhine, Fishcer, Tal, Kasparov, Nimzowitch, et al. and look at some of their games. Perhaps one could solicit members of the site to volunteer to write the bios and or assemble the games for thier favorite

I dunno, just a thought.

Tactics Trainer. Not sure why you get deducted points if you don't find the solution in 70 sec. or whatefver and get it right. In a real game you have time. Maybe no points- but not deducted points. It has frozen up on me before and said I "skipped" a problem when I did not.

I would like to see another persons online game rating on the front page without having to go into their "online" portion.

I wish all my vote chess games were easy to find on my front page and I could go through like the online games without having to click everywhere. Unless there is something I don't know here.

I wish the analysis board was a different color or different enough that is obviously not the real board.

I wish I had an "analysis board" icon on the home page without having to go into "moves" first.

Small item: The trophies are pathetic.

chess.com doesn't need improving.

I for one would like to see more options on the chess pieces.  Currently, I feel like there are only one or two ones I would use.  It would also be nice if you could change the color of the pieces.
