ok so you know those mini analysis it usually says something about blundereding the win away (for me)

but in a match it said one player manage to take the win

like isnt that usually the case (unless its a draw)

Yes, it's usually the case that one of the players wins unless it's a draw.

But maybe what you're trying to say is that no one wins a game in the sense that the best move in a position only maintains the evaluation. The only way for a player to change the true evaluation is by playing a bad move.

It doesn’t say take the win. It says earn the win. This means that one player held the advantage the entire game until he won.
