What exactly is chess talent?

I'm not convinced that, savants excepted, the only difference between children learning chess is whether they like the game or not.

But leaving kids aside, what about adults? Why can 2 adults differ so much in chess ability even when putting in the amount of effort? Indeed, I'm sure we've all encountered people who study and practice a lot who barely progressed at all, and also encountered people who barely study who make good progress. What is the difference in their brains, and can that be changed?

I don't know what chess talent is, but i have no talent at all since i'm into chess since 4 days and i'm still 250, so i must be incredibly stupid while people who are 2500 basically are 10 times more intelligent than me, quite another human species tear

And..i still don't know all the rules.

So, the question is: Why i'm so freaky stupid?

Chess ability has very little to do with IQ. So we can leave aside such things.

You have been playing for 4 days. This is very little time to make any sort of assessment of ability.

Do you know anyone who started playing chess at the same time as yourself? That way you could compare.
