Although, the story of a homeless gal, living out of her car and over coming all odds, reaching the worlds center stage may be well worth watching.
What happened to Rowdy Ronda Rousey ?

Well technically no.. if you have a car albeit a friends... you have a home. The car did get traded in after a few fights.

She was found living on the streets (what better qualification to be a fighter?)... remade and promoted to the, world's center stage... like I said an inspiring story.

Ronda needs a coach who doesn't lie to her about how good she is with her hands. It's one thing to pump your fighter up to give her confidence, but it's unforgivable not to change strategy when the opponent is turning her face into a mooshed pumpkin. Ronda should have stopped trying to work into clinch range and tried two-legged takedowns. That's the strategy a lot of fighters use when in the ring with a superior striker.
Now we know why Dana White never set up the Cyborg match. She would have knocked Ronda into next week.

Lola... open hands are a standard technique. Before a punch they get closed into a fist. Open they are ready to grab, counter-attack or defend.

There's a really good analysis of the fight by Firas Zahabi on Youtube.
Holm was really well prepared and was outstriking Rousey by a long way, but Rousey had some opportunities too. She did get Holm down and almost had the arm bar in the first round, but Holm stayed calm and got out of it. If Rousey had made it stick, the conversation would be completely different.

Looking at a good fight next Sunday; http://www.mmafighting.com/schedule I didn't expect Kimbo Slice to stop Ken Shamrock either
Yeh.. the script will require a major revision. Pockets of the promoters may well be empty.
