What happened to the puzzle ratings??

There's no way the site could get any kind of consensus on proposed changes.

You mean "one more change like this and I am out"?

My guess is that most people won't be able to get anywhere near their old ratings, though I could be wrong
yeah I wont either since my old rating was 4.5k. But 2.3k as my new rating doesn't seem accurate when I'm doing the puzzles of that level

That's aligned well with your rapid rating.

That said, it looks like your puzzle Difficulty is in Standard. If you change to Hard or Extra Hard you might see a difference.

It is, but I feel like if they want puzzle ratings to have decent correlation with rapid/blitz ratings they should make the new system even more harsh. I think most people will still easily get a much higher puzzle rating compared to their normal ratings

There's a balance that needs to exist. If it's too hard, very few people will want to do them.
That's one of the reasons for the difficulty setting. Staff are even looking into a harder setting for those that like it. However, it's looking like the rating system should prevent the massive rating differences from the past

Restore my rating, or I'm done with chess.com.
The ratings crashed for everyone, so relax, bro.
Puzzles are a training tool. Your "rating" doesn't mean anything.
Lets give it a couple of months before we pass judgment on the changes.
Seems that the site can make sweeping changes - so how about a classical category? I've been playing on the other place for months because chess.com does not have this.

how about a classical category?
The legends say it is planned, perhaps even this year
Makes sense, but I have been trying the new puzzles, and seems they are quite easy for my new rating level. I don't think I will have a problem getting close to 3k in the new system, making the deduction feel a bit arbitrary and inaccurate
