Hikaru Nakamura is the American champion currently. As a young American, he has a YouTube channel. This YouTube channel is simply amazing! He has great commentary while he plays, and simplifies even the most complex moves with the help of excellent videos. Hikaru even gets influence from YouTube culture, which you can see in the style of his thumbnails. Great work, Hikaru!
