What is a good mouse pointer speed in Bullet?

At PC, desktop, I can adjust my mouse pointer speed from 1-20. Right now I'm at 14 mouse pointer speed. However I don't know if it's enough for bullet games, specifically.

I've researched "What is a good mouse speed for bullet games in chess?" However the one popping up is the term DPI for mouse speed. Which I don't know the equivalent of in mouse pointer speed.

Can someone help me out? I need to find a mouse speed that is fast but still precise to be useable.

How do you become fast at chess using phone tho? I've watched some few GM's demonstrate how they play at mobile phones in bullet games, and they we're very, like very fast especially using only their index finger (Which I'm not very used to) Since I move my pieces on mobile using my thumb and doing it the "drag pieces" way since it's kinda satisfying (personal preferences)

It actually aids those especially with slow mouse movement. Picture it like a first person shooter game. When your mouse speed is slow you aren't able to shoot the enemy because of your slow mouse even though you had the time to see him. But when it's fast you'll be able to shoot them down because of your combined fast mouse speed and reflex

It basically aids in making your mouse move faster

And it helps in making less mouse movement especially in a tight area like a small table.

what type of mouse do you use?

I happend so much that my piece is placed on the wrong square, because it was dropped to early.

Do you have any tips to prevent this?

Thanks for your reply.

I already have a relatively high speed, but the problem is that sometimes my pace drops, which results in a lost game, and this is very frustrating. So, I thought maybe investing in a good mouse would be the solution?

so i was interested in what mouse (hardware) you guys are using and if anyone has the same experience or if i'm the only one

I use a mouse I got at a discount store for $4-$5. I rarely play fast games on here like bullet, rapid or blitz so maybe mouse speed is not so important for me. Good luck!

Change your dpi, leave “mouse pointer speed” alone. Also turn off enhance pointer precision, it messes you up when you’re trying to do anything precise (ironically). Might take a bit to get used to but it’ll help.

What does turning off "enhance pointer precision" do?

I've researched and it talked about consistency. It was quite sensitive and faster when I turned it off.

I like a lower sensitivity. Not too low, but lower than that. Allows me to be more accurate. Habit from playing fps games.

I use a gaming mouse. Doesn’t have to be too expensive. My first was 25 USD and the one I use right now is 35 USD (roccat kone air pro). Pretty consistent.
