Accuracy can be thought of as deviation from what the computer sees as the ideal moves. So its likely to be lower the more moves there are in a game. You are likely to be more accurate the better you become.
What is accuracy?
OK, thanks for the explanation. I notice that mostly, games I win, better accuracy, & vice versa, but not always. I had a game where I won quickly - a trap - lost my queen to do it, had a 97.2 accuracy, I thought what but I lost my queen, so that explains it.
Accuracy isn't that important. I've literally seen the numbers change for the same game in multiple refreshes of analysis.
just use the chess.com analysis to find out what blunders u made and what combinations u did right, thats it.
It’s about time for the tool to be scrapped. It causes for more confusion than any short term benefit.
How many have noticed that totals given in the Game Report for Best moves, Excellent moves and Good moves often vary widely from the totals given by the actual analysis ?
Review a game analysis and add up the results. (After every move it’s reported whether it was best, excellent, good) and compare the results to the Game report which gives the accuracy score. The totals can often differ substantially.
& does it really matter? I've won games where my accuracy has been lower than my opponent, sometimes quite a bit & vice versa!
