I think 10 is good. I had over 50 and it was overwhelming. My # of games are going down though. (:
What Is an Acceptable Amount of Online Games at Once?

Everyone is different, for me the tipping point seems to be about 20, after that I start making stupid moves.

Wow, that is pretty low for me. I had some success with 30-40 games, starting to increase higher and higher, but then I added 40 more and crashed. But I want to compete and help my groups as much as I can

Remember PromoteKing? Over 1000 games and kept an expert rating. Then he fell though.
At 30 games I believe I was doing fine, but I am in a lot of groups and want to help them all

64:)
After that I might collapse. I think the range of 50-70 is my tipping point when I start losing a lot. 30-50 I do better.
64 would probably be too much.

I think what happens to me is that when I start to get more games, I feel more rushed and don't think as much in order to finish up all the games

Yeah, I was just joking around.
(I am playing 64 games right now)
I think I am playing 80. That dropped my rating by 80 points and still counting

One guy I saw had 500 games, and I'm playing one guy now. The tournament started 3 months ago. He absolutely takes 3 days for every move.

I am still playing someone with almost 1000 games last time I checked. He had a 2000 rating for a while, unfortunately, he recently dropped to 1400, but I am still losing in the match. He couldn't blunder for me
:)
But yes, same thing for this guy,PromoteKing. I see 40 minutes left, and I'm waiting thinking he won't show, but he does

It's not a number of games questions, but how much time should you spend per move per game. For someone who can spend more time, the number is higher. It's a ratio.

On a related note: Did you know 7 out of 4 people dont understand ratios?
:)

Yes, sometimes I feel rushed when I have too many games

No just kidding lol!
I am though a vote chess player and with participating in so many VCs in several different groups. I don't have time for a lot of correspondence games.
That is just me though
Hello everyone! I recently found myself overloaded with too much correspondence games, and as a result, my rating has dropped. I should be around 2000, but I'm 1840. Can someone tell me an acceptable number with your own experience?
