Does chess.com have a list or something defining the terms used?

How long are these games?

Hi Tom!

Before July 2014 a blitz game had to have a maximum time of 15 min for each player with a minimum of 3 min, and after 2014 it is a maximum of 10 min, which makes the 10 min rappid here on Chess.com a bit strange. For rappid chess all moves have to be made for each player in more than 10 min but less then 60 min. Before 2014 it was a minimum of at least 15 min. Bullet chess has to have less then 3 min for each player. This is how I understand it and as I said above it is strange that Chess.com has 10 min rappid.

When I was a kid playing chess in  a club we played 5 or 10 min blitz but in tournaments in our club blitz was always 5 min I think. With modern clocks they added increments so now I think 3 min with 2 seconds increment per move is most common at least in world blitz championship that use to be played each Christmas and New Year.
