@Ziryab, you're precisely correct but generally wrong when you say that no conversion formula exists. What I mean is that there is indeed a conversion formula for the general trend. But it is not meant to be used as a guaranteed predictor of a person's rating in another setting. It's a guide.
There does exist a conversion table, and it's fairly accurate.
Here is a link to the conversion table that National Master @smarterchess, a statistician, has created:

That’s a good link that I didn’t know.
The +/- 245 with respect to USCF ratings offers a lot of wiggle room. The others are smaller, but still generous. Even with such wide variances, my bullet and rapid seem to be at the bottom or even outside the range on any given day.
You don't automatically become an FM from becoming 2300 on an overrated chess site. You need to be 2300 FIDE in OTB tournaments
also cm do not need to go to OTB tournaments right please friend me I accept all
in order to get any title in chess except for arena titles you must play otb
fine I have a rating of 2,500 but I am not titled
Yes my mother is Hillary clinton
If she was, you would know how to spell.
I dont know. This is a good debate. I've never really thought of it. Nor have i been able to get up to those levels. So ig im below average.

Yes, that’s my point

If this is how he translates chess.com to lichess (he says 1850 chess.com blitz equals 2000 lichess blitz) then I am sceptical of his other conclusions. I am 1700 on this site and 2000 on lichess (both blitz). According to this guy I should be 1850 on this site, or I should be 1900 on lichess. Still, I guess the prediction is no that far off, but what bothers me is that he could have gathered enormous amount of data for chess.com ratings vs lichess ratings yet it is imprecise. What should we expect when comparing chess.com to FIDE, there is way less data to gather there?
SmyslovFan - I agree. It's unsatisfying but true. Good is like hot - a relative term. At 1300 I am good compared to people who don't play chess, but miserable compared to those who really play chess. Just like 30 degrees Celsius is a hot day where I live, but quite mild during a Kuwaiti summer.
