Not in live chess, but dont click and drag. click the piece you want to move, then click the square you want it to go to.

I think there is a "confirm move" setting. I would love to use this feature because I have lost a KAJILLION JILLION gamess because of mouse and cursor slips. I have track of the number of times I have attempted to castle only to have mouse slip and play Kf1 (or Kf8). PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
