What is the meaning of Glicko RD

The Glicko rating system keeps track of TWO numbers instead of one.
1) Your rating
2) your RD, which indicates how accurate (or inaccurate) your rating is.
If you just joined the website and had only played a couple of games, your rating is not going to be accurate. In fact it will be little more than a guess. So your RD will be very high, and each game you win or lose will give you (or lose) lots of points.
As you play more and more games, your rating "homes in" on its true value... and your RD gets smaller and smaller. With a low RD, each win or loss will only involve a few points changing hands, because it is assumed that your rating is already pretty close to your true playing strength.
