What is the most memorable chess game you have ever played? What made it so special?"

This one, from a rated country vs country match (Malaysia vs Canada). My opponent (slightly higher rated than me at the time; 2194 to 2189) started attacking me right out of the opening. I was under tremendous pressure, but parried each threat and eventually turned the tables with a counter-attack.
The whole game reminded me of a duel with rapiers at the brink of a cliff... the first person to slip was going to be doomed.
Another player might recall a game where they faced a strong opponent and managed to hold their ground against all odds, eventually achieving a draw or even a win. The intensity of the struggle and the satisfaction of overcoming a challenging opponent made this game special.
Additionally, a memorable game could be the one where a player faced a difficult position and had to make tough decisions, demonstrating their resilience, creativity, and strategic thinking. The feeling of being tested and solving complex puzzles within the game contributed to its significance.
In summary, what makes a chess game memorable can vary greatly from person to person. It could be the excitement of a brilliant combination, the challenge of facing a strong opponent, or the satisfaction of making tough decisions and demonstrating strategic prowess.
