what is your chess.com rating compared to your Lichess rating?

Close to 1500 here, 1350 there (though I don't play on Lichess as much)

My lichess rating for rapid is 1533. The last time I played on it I was rated 1100-ish here, so the inflation is real.

For me, the inflation is about 3.5x. I guess I don't play as much on chess.com than lichess.

Since the 2 methods are similar except for the starting points, should they average out over the long term assuming enough games are played on both sites and fairly equally ?

Yeah. I played 50 matches in lichess and got 2077 and I played 50 matches here and I now have 808. I think both sites should start at the same value, for example 1100, and also the inflation in lichess after you play your first match is like 150?!? So they should make the inflation after every match won and lost equivalent. Everyone agree with me?

Never played on Lichess, but my chess.com rating is about 300 points higher than my old OTB rating from 25 years ago.

Lichess around 1750 classical.

On this site there is no such category so the ratings mean absolutely nothing. "Rapid" could be anything from 10/0 to 60/0. Totally different disciplines.

800m runners don't compete against 10,000m athletes and comparing them is like measuring apples against oranges.

When I ran track in high school, I competed in everything from the 800 to the two mile. Of course, I was not near fast enough to be any good at the 800. Longer distances were my thing. At ten miles, I could hold my own with some of the top runners in my city, although they destroyed me in the two mile.

1947 chess.com but 1891 on lichess ?

Lichess was weird usually on chess.com scholar mate was much more common

I am 1400 Rapid here , with 2000 games and 1400 on lichess with 52 games
